Game Overview:

Space SHMUP is a fast-paced, action-packed shoot 'em up game that puts players in control of a heroic space ship navigating waves of relentless enemies. Inspired by classic arcade games like Galaga and Ikaruga, Space SHMUP challenges players to dodge enemy fire, collect power-ups, and survive for as long as possible. Each wave brings more formidable opponents, requiring quick reflexes, precise aiming, and strategic use of various weapons to clear the battlefield. Players must manage the hero’s shields and utilize powerful weapon upgrades to take down enemies and achieve a high score.

Power Ups:

Blaster: A basic weapon that fires a straightforward projectile. Ideal for standard attacks, it has a moderate firing rate and damage, making it a reliable choice for consistent offense.

Spread: Fires multiple projectiles in a fan-like spread, covering a wider area. This weapon is great for hitting multiple targets at once or for dealing with fast-moving enemies.

Phaser: Fires projectiles that move in a sine wave pattern, creating an unpredictable trajectory. Perfect for confusing enemies and reaching targets that are difficult to hit with standard weapons.

Missile: With high damage, it’s designed for taking down tougher enemies that are harder to reach.

Laser: Emits a continuous beam that deals sustained damage over time. Ideal for prolonged attacks on stationary or slow-moving enemies, the laser can quickly wear down enemy defenses.

Shield: Not a weapon per se, but it increases the player's shield level, adding extra protection. This is useful for surviving longer against waves of enemies.

Instructions:

• Move the Ship: Use  Arrow Keys to control the hero ship's movement.
• Fire Weapons: Press the Spacebar to shoot.
• Switch Weapons: Collect power-ups to change and upgrade weapons automatically.
